Overview: As a member of the Habitat for Humanity South Central MN (HFHSCMN) team, the Development and Communications Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships and growing the Affiliate’s fundraising revenue through soliciting, stewarding, and retaining donors. This rewarding role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with individuals, corporations, faith communities, government entities, organizations and foundations. In addition, the position is responsible for the development and implementation of an effective fund development plan that includes multiple strategies to raise funds for the organization, including grant opportunities.

The Development and Communications Manager plays a vital role in building an emerging online & social media presence as well as taking the lead in the planning, coordination, and operation of HFHSCMN fundraising and special events.

The Development and Communications Manager is responsible for working with the Executive Director in planning and coordinating all aspects of resource development for the Affiliate. The position will serve as the primary information officer for HFHSCMN, ensuring that the mission of the organization is effectively communicated to a diverse range of stakeholders.
