Cristen Incitti, Executive Director

Serving Habitat Minnesota since January 2020, Cristen Incitti leads the Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota team in achieving our mission of serving, advocating for and advancing the work for Minnesota’s Habitat for Humanity affiliates so we can create and preserve more affordable homeownership opportunities for families and communities.

Prior to joining Habitat Minnesota, Cristen spent more than a decade working in the fields of nonprofit management and higher education. She held leadership positions with the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council as Chief Operating Officer and the Senior Director of Programs and Services at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. During her time at Twin Cities Habitat, she played a key role in developing new programs designed to help families access homeownership and build assets including developing and implementing a new affordable mortgage product, growing strategic partnerships in the Twin Cities to reach new demographics and communities, and launching an internal effort to create a more culturally competent and equitable organization. She spent several years leading community service and student leadership development at The Ohio State University and New Student Orientation programs at Northern Kentucky University.

In addition to her work, Cristen has served on various nonprofit and community boards, including serving as a Board member with Minnesota Housing Partnership and the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District Education Foundation, and participated in leadership development programs, completing Leadership Greater Madison, Leadership Twin Cities, and the YWCA Racial Justice Training & Certificate Program. Cristen holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education from The Ohio State University and has led Habitat Global Village trips to Ethiopia, Costa Rica, and Mozambique.

Susan Thompson
Susan ThompsonLoan & Grant Program Director
Serving Habitat Minnesota since 2006, Susan manages its $35 million loan fund in accordance with the Dept. of Treasury CDFI standards, providing technical assistance and support. She also oversees the Federal Home Loan Bank grants and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency CRV grant programs. Susan previously was a financial analyst with the City of Minneapolis and director of Finance and Lending with North Country Cooperative Development Fund and Credit Union. She has a degree in economics from St. Olaf College.

Kristin Skaar
Kristin SkaarDevelopment & Communications Director
Serving Habitat Minnesota since March 2014, Kristin directs Habitat Minnesota’s communications strategy and fundraising activities, including Give to the Max Day, foundation giving, annual giving, corporate sponsorships, monthly giving, and stewardship activities. Kristin previously coordinated Habitat Minnesota’s Habitat 500 Bike Ride and fundraising events at The ALS Association, MN/ND/SD Chapter and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Kristin has a degree in business management and Spanish from Luther College, where she was president of the Habitat campus chapter.

Kaitlyn Meyers
Kaitlyn MeyersCommunications and Events Project Manager
Serving Habitat Minnesota since June 2016, Kaitlyn joined the organization as an intern to help facilitate the 2016 Habitat 500 Bike Ride. In her current role, Kaitlyn manages the organization’s communications, including newsletters, data reports, website, and social media. She also coordinates the biennial OLE Statewide Training Conference and annual Habitat 500 Bike Ride, as well as Executive Director Gatherings. Kaitlyn has a degree in English and general business management from the University of St. Thomas.

Becca Seidel
Becca SeidelLoan & Grant Portfolio Manager
Serving Habitat Minnesota since May 2018, Becca supports the affiliates throughout the mortgage origination process, ensuring compliant loans and aiding in retention of additional resources. She also manages the current affiliate grant programs and the loan fund portfolio. Becca previously worked at a local mortgage lender in a variety of capacities and pastors a small local church. She has degrees from Bethel University in English and Theology with a concentration in cross-cultural studies.

Jon Slock
Jon SlockAccountant
Serving Habitat Minnesota since January 2020, Jon is thrilled to lend his talents in accounting and finance to help advance the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Jon’s first Habitat experience was a Collegiate Challenge trip to Miami, and he’s been involved ever since through Global Village trips, the Carter Work Project, local building, and various committee work. Prior to joining Habitat Minnesota, Jon worked with Catholic Charities, Macalester College, and Appetite for Change. Jon has a degree in Accounting from Valparaiso University and an MBA from the College of St. Scholastica.

Brianna Murphy
Brianna MurphySpecial Events Intern
Serving Habitat of Minnesota since January 2020, Brianna recently joined the organization as a special events intern to help facilitate the 2020 OLE Conference and Habitat 500 Bike Ride. Previously, Brianna was a communications intern at the Winona-Fillmore Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Brianna has a degree in Mass Communications Public Relations from Winona State University.
