Chris Vosbeek, Executive Director

Serving Habitat Minnesota since January 2016, Chris is responsible for overall professional leadership and direction of the day-to-day operations of Habitat Minnesota. Prior to his current role, he was a long-time volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, serving on the Habitat Minnesota Board for six years, during which he held the positions of Treasurer, Vice Chair and Chairman of the Board. Previously, Chris worked at Bremer Bank for 19 years, as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President. Chris has a degree in Business with dual concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas and completed extensive executive training at University of St. Thomas Master’s in Business Program, American Bankers Association, and the Minnesota Bankers Association.

Becca Seidel
Becca SeidelLoan & Grant Program Specialist
Serving Habitat Minnesota since May 2018, Becca supports the affiliates throughout the mortgage origination process, ensuring compliant loans and aiding in retention of additional resources. She also assists the Loan and Grant Program team in writing grant applications to guarantee sufficient availability of grant funds. Becca previously worked at a local mortgage lender in a variety of capacities and pastors a small local church. She has degrees from Bethel University in English and Theology with a concentration in cross-cultural studies.

Kristin Skaar
Kristin SkaarDevelopment & Communications Director
Serving Habitat Minnesota since March 2014, Kristin manages the Habitat 500 Bike Ride, its committee and communications. She also creates, maintains, and manages communications, including the monthly UFF-DA! Report, the Habitat Minnesota website and social media. Kristin previously coordinated fundraising events at The ALS Association, MN/ND/SD Chapter and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Kristin has a degree in business management and Spanish from Luther College, where she was president of the Habitat campus chapter.

Susan Thompson
Susan ThompsonLoan & Grant Program Director
Serving Habitat Minnesota since 2006, Susan manages its $35 million loan fund in accordance with the Dept. of Treasury CDFI standards, providing technical assistance and support. She also oversees the Federal Home Loan Bank grants and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency CRV grant programs. Susan previously was a financial analyst with the City of Minneapolis and director of Finance and Lending with North Country Cooperative Development Fund and Credit Union. She has a degree in economics from St. Olaf College.

Kaitlyn Worachek
Kaitlyn WorachekCommunications Specialist
Serving Habitat Minnesota since June 2016, Kaitlyn joined the organization as an intern to help organize and facilitate the 2016 Habitat 500 Bike Ride. In her current role, Kaitlyn assists with the organization’s communications, producing the bi-monthly LENA, monthly UFF-DA! report, and newsletters, and contributing to the Habitat Minnesota website, social media accounts, and press releases. She also coordinates communications and provides support for the Habitat 500 Bike Ride, fundraising, and special projects. Kaitlyn graduated with a degree in English and general business management from the University of St. Thomas.
